Tracey Walker
Going with Grace Program Director
Tracey is the Going with Grace Program Director, a Death Doula and passionate death-work activist, experienced entrepreneur, and educator. She has spent over ten years teaching in various aspects, from traditional nursing programs to holistic practices, veterinary medicine, death cafes, and death doula training.
Tracey is the founder of Let It Be—End of Life Planning, where in her practice, she focuses on advance care planning, abortion doula services, and queer EOL care. During her career, she has worked as an in-patient acute care provider for the elderly, volunteered for hospice organizations, and has facilitated medical clinics in East Africa and the Caribbean, representing the US for the WHO World AIDS Day conference. Tracey sat on the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance (NEDA) board from 2019-2021.
She is a Pisces who hates water, thinks we should drink Champagne every day and is a “cat person” until she and her wife Ellie have a lifestyle that will support a dog.
Alua Arthur
Founder, Going with Grace
Alua Arthur is a death doula, recovering attorney, and the founder of Going with Grace, a death doula training and end of life planning organization that exists to support people as they answer the question, “What must I do to be at peace with myself so that I may live presently and die gracefully?” Going with Grace works to improve and redefine the end-of-life experience for people rooted in every community using the individual lived experience as the foundation. Alua was a keynote speaker at EndWell 2019, and has been featured in the LA Times, Vogue, Refinery29, The Doctors, and InStyle. She is inspired by the gift of LIFE itself and is always on the quest for the best donuts and fried plantains!
Sara Westfall
Going with Grace Director of Operations
Sara is the Director of Operations at Going with Grace. She has been working in the online branding and marketing space for the past 5 years, helping entrepreneurs, New York Times best-selling authors, and small businesses share their visions with the world. In 2018, Sara founded her online marketing and consulting business. She also was the Vice President of Marketing and Design with a small women-led marketing firm before connecting with Alua and Going with Grace.
She has had the privilege of working with top brands on website, online course and brand development as well as marketing and book launch campaigns. Sara’s clients have been featured in New York Times, Oprah Magazine, Goop, Hello Sunshine, The Today Show, Vogue, CNN, Refinery 29, NPR, Vanity Fair, and LA Times amongst many other major media outlets.
Sara has a passion for helping driven and compassionate entrepreneurs demystify the practical and technical elements of growing an online businesses, create authentic marketing campaigns, and develop their unique brand. She currently lives just outside of Baltimore, MD with her husband, two kiddos and sweet pup Koa.
