Megan Moten

Death Doula, Licensed Funeral Director, GwG Programs Manager

A military brat with far-reaching roots, Megan is a licensed funeral director living in Austin, Texas. Originally completing her GWG training in 2018 she has since served as a Student Guide and earned her degree in Mortuary Science. Megan has pursued deathwork through various roles including massage therapist, meditation guide, and death doula. In her free time, Megan enjoys doing as little as possible so she can prioritize rest. She loves cats, RPGs, and spicy food.

No prior experience is required—just curiosity, care, and reverence for the living world that supports us through life’s final transition.
